2008 should be a fun and exciting year for Royal Rangers.  Doug Marsh, national commander for Royal Rangers, will be presenting his long term plan for Royal Rangers at National Council this year.  There will be some exciting things that will be coming forth from this.  Here in the North Texas District, we have seen things change already from when events are to how things are being done.  At the beginning of the year, the decision was made to change how we as the Waco Section handle our public relations.  Instead of printing and mailing newsletters and event packets and sending them to all A/G churches, chartered non-A/G churches, sectional staff, and senior commanders, we are going to make these things available online.  Now, we are going to have postcards produced which will serve as reminders for upcoming events as well as informing you when newsletters and event packets have been released online.  The mailing list has changed slightly (and been revised) as a result of this change. The sectional mailing list now includes all A/G churches, chartered non-A/G churches, sectional staff, and every chartered commander whose contact information was included in their churchs' charter application.
