David Trower has been in Royal Rangers since 1989 and was a Rainbow before that; 13 of those years as a boy and the remainder as a leader. In 1999, he earned his Gold Medal of Achievement. He currently serves as the Waco Section Communications, Training, and Resource Coordinator. Prior to serving as communications, training, and resource coordinator, he has also served as the Waco Section Productions Coordinator, the Shawnee Trail Suttler/Promotions Coordinator, and the NTD GMAA President. He has also been an active leader in his local church currently serving in the role of outpost coordinator. In the past he has served in the local church as lt. commander and outpost commander. He has attended NTC, RKTC, WCO, and the National Pageantry Camp. He served on the staff of the final ANTC held at Lakeview Camp in Maypearl, Texas. He is a certified instructor and has earned his Leaders Medal of Achievement.
Outside of Rangers, David is involved in the local church in young adults ministry. Outside of church he owns his own business, Trower Technologies, a consulting firm that innovates through leading edge technology. As a part of his business, he contracts with a couple of firms to develop computer-based training modules for mainly Fortune 500 companies as well as other businesses. Furthermore, he works as a web designer for ministries, businesses, & other sites and as a consultant to other web designers. David has been active in the web community for over 15 years. He is a self taught web designer. Through the course of his self training, he has come to appreciate and become a strong supporter of web standards compliance and cross-browser compatibility. To this end he has joined several web associations including the International Webmasters Association, The HTML Writers Guild, the Internet Society, and the American Association of Webmasters.
